R&H Railway Consultants has been involved in Signalling and Telecommunication projects over a wide spectrum ranging from Radio Train Order - to in-Cab Signalling Systems.
The services offered include feasibility studies, capacity determination and user requirements leading to signalling and operating philosophy and practices for rail systems.
Projects involved in:
- Gautrain Rapid Rail Link: concept design and request for proposal for the rail signalling and telecommunications requirements.
- Conceptualization, design and construction supervision of the Train Control System for the East London-Umtata Railway Line project.
- Design and implementation of a Centralized Train Control System for the Glencore Mining, Mopani Copper Mines, Zambia.
- Inputs into most of the rail infrastructure projects in terms of signalling, telecommunications and train operations.
- Deviation of Spoornet Main Line for Assmang's Iron Ore Mine.
- Feasibility study for Kumba Resources new Sishen South Iron Ore Mine.
- Xstrata Coal South Africa: New Goedgevonden Coal Mine.
- Feasibility study for the new development in the Eastern Limb of the Platinum Mining industry.
